Rest day review

I was so glad to have the flax granola for breakfast again.  It was so much more filling that the pumpkin chia pudding. Can you believe I actually want the flax granola now?  At first I wasn't that into it.  Now I'm wishing for it each day!

Hands down the best part of my meals yesterday was the carrots for dinner.  They are just frozen carrots.  I warmed them up, then added butter, cinnamon, and sugar.  SO GOOD!!!

We had a quick turnaround for dinner in order to get to Lindsey's soccer game at 6:45 which is why I opted for frozen veggies and had precooked the chicken the night before.  It felt great to have a super quick meal on the table.

Speaking of things to be thankful for...I'm super thankful that I had a successful rest day and lost 1.2 lbs!  Woo hoo!

Now here's what's scary.  I know that the day after a huge loss is usually more modest.  Add that to the test for tomatoes today and I'm a bit twitchy.  Further, today calls for cereal mixed in with my flax granola.  I'm not so sure about that.

Maybe I should stick with all flax granola today?  I don't know.  I should be ok with the cereal.  It's all whole wheat, and I tested fine on wheat bread....so...I have no idea.
