Day 9 meals

I was a mess today!  I forgot to take the chickpeas for my soup.  My snack was halves of two different apples.  And I was partway through my dinner before I remembered to take a picture.

I need to get it together.  Or maybe I need to stop daydreaming about the day when I've achieved a 10 pound loss....nah.

Dreaming is good.

Friends, I was so excited to have something new for breakfast today.  Although yesterday's bread at lunch didn't do much for me, the break at breakfast with almond butter was the cat's meow.

Seriously delicious.

Now let's just hope that my body responds well to the almonds.  I've only had them one other day and I wasn't sure just how friendly they were and my weight loss was small.  But that was the day right after a big loss, so maybe that was why it wasn't much.

Although this plan is designed to minimize variables, there are still A TON!

Obviously I didn't do a good job of managing the variables yesterday.  I gained 0.2 lbs.  It was supposed to be a rest day!

I accidentally turning it into a test day by having almonds and beef, neither of which I'm sure are friendly, on the same day.  Dumb.  I know.

Time for another rest day!
