Beer day

Sadly, most of the day was pretty unremarkable.  I used my rest day menu, which I've already had a few times.  It is already feeling like an old friend.

At 7 minutes until beer-o'clock, I realized I had not yet had dinner!  I had meant to eat earlier and leave the office right on the hour.  So, I hurried to the kitchen in the office, nuked the chicken and veggies, drenched it in coco sauce, and scarfed it down...while still standing.  There was no time for the salad greens.  At two minutes till, I was done and ready to go. Priorities.  Beer.

Imagine my shock when I walked into the bar and my beer didn't appear. It's sad.  I'm such a regular that I no longer need to make eye contact with the bartender and nod.  (She's known my drink for a long time now.)  At this point, my beer just appears.  Today it didn't.  Not only were they out of my favorite, they were out of my second favorite!  Ugh!!!!!  Somehow I managed to chose another.  Such a hardship!

Lucky me!  Beer is friendly!  I lost 0.8 lbs!  Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have I mentioned that I really like beer?

It's good to know that I can have one with no side effects on my weight loss.  Keep in mind that I only had one beer and I had an extra glass of water to make up for it.  I doubt that two beers would be a good idea, but I can always test that at a later date.

I'm a happy girl!
